She has been beautifully painted, giving her a realistic skin tone. She does NOT have eye lashes, which actually makes her look more realistic. She has adorable little leg creases and veins and blushing painted on her skin. Her mouth has been opened and she can take a modified pacifier perfectly. What is a modified pacifier?- I have cut the tip off of a real pacifier to make it easier to insert into the baby's mouth. I prefer that you do not have to stretch the mouth open too far as that could risk damage to the corner's of her mouth.

This baby does NOT drink and wet. She is made from Platinum silicone and weighs 6.5 lbs, measuring 18 inches long. She fits preemie and newborn clothing perfectly. Size 0-3 is typically too big.

Alina is heavy, realistic, and floppy so you will want to support her head just like a real baby when carrying her. She is an ideal choice for both collectors and responsible children who want to dress and handle their doll with care.

To keep Alina’s skin soft and touchable like a real baby, I recommend bathing with a mild baby soap, then using matting powder designed specifically for silicone dolls or corn starch.

Please note: Alina has a silicone pour spot on the top of her head. A headband or a little bonnet hides this. She has no seams on the arms and legs! Lastly, this is an anatomically correct baby girl. All silicone dolls can have some minor imperfections due to the way they were poured and produced. Please beware of this.

Also please note: Silicone dolls are meant for adult collectors but many children want them as well. If purchasing this for a child, they must handle the baby with care as silicone is delicate.
