Sweet little asleep Josie is precious baby girl, ready to meet her new parents! This Josie does NOT have a drink and wet system. She is available in light skin and brown skin (different listing for brown) and has been beautifully painted, giving her a realistic skin tone. She has adorable little leg creases and veins and blushing painted on her skin. She has rooted eye lashes. Her mouth has been opened and she can take a modified pacifier perfectly. What is a modified pacifier?- I have cut the tip off of a real pacifier to make it easier to insert into the baby's mouth. I prefer that you do not have to stretch the mouth open too far as that could risk damage to the corner's of her mouth.

She is made from Platinum silicone and weighs 6.4 lbs, measuring 18 inches long. She fits mostly preemie and some newborn clothing. Size 0-3 is too big.

To ensure her skin looks natural, I’ve bathed and matted her with professional-grade doll matting powder, which eliminates the shiny look and sticky feel of silicone dolls. You can bathe her too!

To keep Josie’s skin soft and touchable like a real baby, I recommend bathing her with a mild baby soap, then using matting powder designed specifically for silicone dolls, or you can use baby powder, or corn starch. Your doll will come with care instructions!

Disclosures:

Dottie has a silicone pour spot on the top of her head. All silicone dolls will have this. A headband or a little bonnet hides this. She does NOT have any seams on her arms or legs. All silicone dolls can have some minor imperfections based on how they were produced. Lastly, this is an anatomically correct baby girl.

Silicone dolls are meant for adult collectors but many children want them as well. If purchasing this for a child, they must handle the baby with care as silicone is delicate. Please read the care instructions I provide with your doll.
