Dottie’s realistic skin appearance is created using silicone paints that are carefully sealed at the end of the process. Although the paint is sealed, silicone dolls must still be dressed, bathed, and handled gently.

To protect Dottie’s painted details:

• Do not scrub or rub her skin
• Do not drag clothing or towels across her face
• Avoid tight clothing that must be forcefully pulled over her head or limbs
• Choose loose-fitting, soft newborn clothing whenever possible
• Do not pull on her fingers, toes, mouth, eyelashes, or limbs
• Keep her away from sharp objects, pets, extreme heat, and open flames
• Avoid prolonged contact with dark or heavily dyed fabrics, which may transfer color

Silicone paint can be damaged by friction, scratching, harsh products, and improper handling. Damage caused by rubbing, pulling, staining, or rough handling is not considered a manufacturing defect.

🛁 BATHING AND MATTING CARE

Dottie may be gently bathed when needed using lukewarm water and a small amount of mild baby soap.

• Never scrub her painted skin
• Lather the soap and rinse gently
• Pat dry carefully with a soft, lint-free towel
• Apply silicone-safe matting powder with a clean, soft makeup brush whenever her skin begins to feel tacky
• Apply powder lightly and evenly—do not rub it forcefully into the silicone

Keeping silicone-safe matting powder and a soft makeup brush available will make it easier to maintain Dottie’s smooth, soft, and touchable finish.

⚠️ NATURAL SILICONE CHARACTERISTICS

Dottie may have a faint seam running along her back and a small circular silicone pour mark near the top or back of her head. The pour mark can easily be covered with a cap or headband and is not visible on versions with hair.

Dottie does NOT have visible seam lines on her arms or legs.

Minor marks, faint seams, pour spots, or other small variations can naturally occur during the silicone casting and finishing processes. These characteristics are normal for silicone dolls and do not affect their beauty or intended use.

Silicone is soft, flexible, and delicate. Dottie is an artist-finished collectible doll and must always be handled gently.
